What is NextLang?

NextLang is an AI flashcard generator built for one job: learning a language. You pick the pair of languages and a CEFR level from A1 to C1, paste your text or upload a file, and get a deck in the app you already use - Anki, Mochi, Quizlet or Brainscape - without changing your study routine.

What makes it different from general-purpose flashcard generators:

  • Four platforms from one source. Native .apkg for Anki and native .mochi for Mochi, plus CSV, TSV and Markdown for Quizlet and Brainscape. The same source text carries across when you switch platform, one generation per app.
  • Audio that ships inside the deck. Every card can be voiced with neural text-to-speech in 20 languages, and the mp3 files are embedded in the .apkg and .mochi packages. The deck keeps speaking inside Anki or Mochi with no add-on, no external service and no Mochi Pro subscription. Previewing a word on the result page is free; embedding the audio in a downloaded deck comes with a credit pack.
  • Level-matched cards. CEFR from A1 to C1 is a field, not a claim: an A2 deck and a C1 deck from the same text hold different words and different examples.
  • Cards you can check before they leave. Every card is editable on screen before export.
  • Cloze cards for Anki and Mochi, in each app's native format.
  • Free converters, no upload and no account: CSV to Anki, CSV to Mochi, Quizlet to Anki, Anki to Mochi. Everything runs in the browser.
  • A vocabulary list with spaced repetition on the site, plus import from subtitle files (.srt, .vtt, .sbv, .ass, .ssa) for sentence mining.
  • Installable as a PWA on Android, iOS and desktop

Pricing is credits, not a subscription: every account gets 5 free credits that refill to 5 every 30 days with no card required, and paid credits come in one-time packs and never expire. One credit per generation, whatever the card count, and the pronunciation audio in that deck costs nothing extra. Deck file downloads unlock with the first credit pack; adding audio to a deck you already own costs one credit per 200 cards. The browser converters stay free and need no account.
