No longer so. There are cross-device apps for mobile and desktop now. Sharing doesn't seem to be integrated directly but you can share decks by sending exported Mochi-decks.
Inherit the functions of Anki perfectly, and it has markdown support. Better UI than Anki.

Great, but synchronization between devices is not free.
Beautiful simplicity! Mochi is by far my favourite my spaced repetition tool. It's super versatile and works for everything I need to learn, from programming snippets to japanese.
Awesome app, runs great. Nice study tool.
