Very clean look, the interface is beautiful and simple. Allows to download offline maps of your choice (one of the first to do so). Brings all means of transportation in the same place. However, nav search offline sometimes fail and it's probably not the fastest out there (launch time, nav calculation time)
2024 Update
What used to be a great services has been replaced by, to use Cory Doctorow's term, "ensh*ttification".
Not only have existing accounts been deleted, with complete loss of all data (collections, routes, etc.), creation of new accounts goes through a maze of advertising about the platform API.
There isn't even a sign-in option on their main screen. You have to go into the "create a new account" section, then select "sign in instead". And in my case, even the newly created account, verified by email, couldn't log in because the verified password was considered invalid.
No longer recommended.

I've been using this since about 2012, when it was just Nokia Maps. The ability to download regional maps made it the killer app, for those of us who routinely drove in areas where cell service was spotty, but we could still get GPS. Even in areas where cell service is solid, it's really only needed if you want real time traffic updates.
It's very accurate, and reliable, and the maps (at least the Canadian maps) are updated frequently.
I don't use it for things like scouting out restaurants, or activities, so I can't say anything about that. But in terms of going from point A to point B, it finds the best route, estimates arrival times accurately, the traffic updates are very quick (although not always as quick as crowd-sourced things like Waze), and gives turn-by-turn directions effectively.
It's also very good at storing what it calls "Collections" of favourite destinations that can be organized as you choose (job sites, friend's houses, restaurants, favourite stores, whatever). Recommended.
Valid alternative to Google Maps or Waze, with more type of vehicles supported and a good ETA estimation.

It is easy to use, precise and just offers what I need in terms of navigation. AND: Here WeGo is not intrusive
One of the best apps for navigation in European cities.
