Outdooractive is a digital platform for planning and navigating outdoor activities worldwide. It offers reliable maps, routes, and weather data, and allows users to explore various locations, access exclusive features and discounts, and connect with official organizations and partners. The platform's key goal is to make topographic maps, tour suggestions, and outdoor experiences accessible to everyone, including through smartphones.

Outdooractive's "Tours" feature, created by professional editors, includes detailed information about various activities like elevation profiles, surface types, descriptions, and points of interest. It also includes a global outdoor map with precise contour lines, rock indications, hiking trails, and optional layers for users in Germany, Austria, and Italy.

The "Tour planning on the go" feature lets users input their start and end points to get hiking or cycling route recommendations. Users can also record personal tours with georeferenced images, detailed statistics, a speedometer, live elevation profiles, and more. .gpx files can be imported via a browser, mail attachment, or Dropbox. Additionally, the platform includes a Content-Scanner to scan QR-Codes from the Outdooractive website for tour access through the app.
