it is quite great but unfortunately it is discontinued
The Linux version doesn't let you tweak when Redshift is active. If you work non-standard hours, or wake up at 7am to do something on the computer then go back to sleep until 10am, you won't be able to force Redshift via this GUI to make the screen red.
Also, the GUI sometimes fails due to being unable to find a location provider.
All I wish for were a simple option to activate it between HH:MM and HH:MM.
Combines the time responsive red light of f.lux with a luminosity tweaker, a feature that f.lux should have.
I was really looking for a program that would change brightness from day to night. This only changes color from day to night and the brightness bar is static. That's really disappointing.
Well, I find it better than changing the brightness : the scrren is still bright in the night but without hurting the eyes.
