Scherlokk is a file search utility designed for fast and accurate search of various file types like music, pictures, bookmarks, and documents. It can search on built-in volumes, portable volumes, and network drives. It also features a hex editor for editing all file types.

Scherlokk can locate files regardless of their status as hidden or system, or whether they're indexed by macOS. It calculates and displays folders within a size range. The search engine works on actual files, not relying on the Spotlight's index. The search results are shown in a flat or hierarchical view.
