Super Productivity is a great app. Privacy focused, VERY well crafted UX/UI, distraction free, intuitive... Plus the integration with gitlab issues is super easy. If you need to track time and tasks, this is the perfect tool. As a solo developer, I really needed a lightweight, efficient, straightforward tool that feels less bloated than its counterparts. Bonus : the optional "end of day" self reflection is really useful, and can be surprisingly eye-opening.

One of the few pieces of software I use daily. Tons of features, including mobile sync via a third party, for free AND open source! The dev is also very responsive, including addressing user concerns. I cannot praise it enough!

What is Super Productivity?
Super Productivity is a multi-platform software application designed for task management, time tracking, and personal project management on Linux, MacOS and Windows operating systems. The software is equipped with features to help users plan, track, and summarize their work, allowing the generation of time sheets and work summaries for easy exportation to other time tracking systems.
Super Productivity integrates seamlessly with Jira, Github, and Gitlab, offering automatic importation of tasks assigned to the user. It allows local planning of task details, automatic creation of worklogs, and immediate notifications of any changes. The software also provides tools for organizing project data, including the creation of notes, file attachments, and bookmarks for links, files, and commands, all of which can be conveniently tucked away when not in use.
The application also promotes healthy work habits, with a built-in break timer to remind users when it's time to take a breather. Users can collect personal metrics to analyze and adjust their work routines as needed. For those struggling with procrastination, Super Productivity offers an anti-procrastination feature to reconsider work options, along with a pomodoro timer. Notably, Super Productivity does not collect any user data and requires no user accounts or registration. It is a free and open source software.

The only thing I miss is a better calendar view that would show everything from the planned tasks to the logs. Lots of features, works well and integrates Pomodoro timers, too.
The best task tracking app! Tried vikunja but much prefer this apps approach to projects and time tracking. Super easy to get started. Sync works well.
Simple and full of features. as a solo developer it's the best productivity tool for me
