Thinks Google Maps is an alternative to Cartes- Reviewed Cartes★★★★
Excellent alternative to Google Maps, because, contrary to OpenStreetMap (which it relies on heavily though) it is not just a map and provides loads of functionalities that've become essential to many users. Only problem i see for now is the UI is not the best and i sometimes find myself searching for the right button more i'd like to. But that's to be expected when including so many features. Hopefully this will be worked on in the future !

Great balance between usability and political decisions (open source, no ads, no commercial incentives, re-use of other open services). Missing features are being integrated regularly, quickly filling the gap with other online maps. I think it's important to support this effort!

Actually, as a map, it is the BEST map I have used, I would easily give it a 5, if it didn`t have the absurd "You have to know French to to change the language from French" ALL French apps use.. It IS a bit trick to get a actual (or not a true app, it IS a app, but is based on browser it is based on. In the end, it looks like it doesn't seem to matter much.. Yeah, and they DO understand the earth is ROUND, not flat, THAT is a huge plus, "Middle Age Google."

Doesn't think Calcurse is an alternative to Merkuro Calendar

Downvoted a comment on Merkuro CalendarNo flatpak or apt available, won't bother building it if the devs don't put the effort themselves.
Etar is a dedicated calendar app while Tuta Mail is mail-oriented before anything, and includes a calendar as a bonus.
I'll have to pay more attention to devs who use Codeberg, would be a sign of quality that your code doesn't violate the AI-slop restriction

A promising open source payment processor. No need for blockchains or shitcoins. Privacy preserving for the buyer. Compliant for the shop, strong cryptography that ensure buyer's anonymity such as in cash ! I hope to see it used soon !
Commented on be-BOPBeing the first ever functional GNU Taler integration, this makes be-BOP a very interesting project to keep an eye on. I'm not a client myself so i'll let actual users review it, so hopefully it'll go in the right direction.
Founded by some of the people who worked on Ampled and learned from its failures. It's slowly building up and accumulating steam over time. It's already great, and might just become fantastic !
