I've tried a lot of different alternatives and this is the only one that worked for me in the long run.
It's simple and well designed, with no distracting extra features, which is were I think other apps fail.
I do wish it would sync with calendars other than Google and was more privacy focused.

Adding collections to tasks is this app's best feature! And also I can organise my personal and work calendars in just one place without a mess.
