I'm using this File Manager since 1 year ago. It's small, fast, without tons of dependencies and with extra modules able to connect via ftp and ssh to servers. Also its able to open archives and extract single files or the whole archive. After looking for an alternative to TotalCommander on Windows this is my favorite.

What is Tux Commander?

Tux Commander is a windowed file manager with 2 panels side by side similar to popular Double Commander icon Double Commander, Total Commander icon Total Commander or Midnight Commander icon Midnight Commander file managers. The main goal of this project is to create powerful and user friendly file manager for Unix operating systems.

Written in Borland Kylix ( Delphi icon Delphi ) and Free Pascal icon Free Pascal.
