Cheese uses your webcam to take photos and videos, applies fancy special effects and lets you share the fun with others. It was written as part of Googles 2007 Summer of Code lead by Daniel G. Siegel and mentored by Raphaël Slinckx.



Yakuake is a drop-down (Quake-style) terminal emulator based on KDE Konsole technology. Its design was inspired from consoles in computer games such as Quake which slide down from the top of the screen when a key is pressed, and slide back up when the key is pressed again.

Math is LibreOffice's formula editor, and can be invoked in your text documents, spreadsheets, presentations and drawings, enabling you to insert perfectly formatted mathematical and scientific formulas.
